Binance spot: paper and live eligible
Run a managed Binance spot trading bot with Freqtrade.
Connect a supported Binance account with trade-only API credentials and begin in paper mode. Binance remains the custodian of your funds, and availability still depends on your account and region.
A live-eligible Binance spot workflow
After paper validation and required checks, Binance is eligible for live spot trading. A live on-exchange stop-loss uses a limit order, and the platform permits at most two simultaneous open positions.
Connect Binance through its API
Create credentials in your Binance account and add them through the exchange connection flow. A valid connection does not mean every market or account feature is supported.
Use trade-only permissions
Grant only the permissions required for the intended trading mode. Do not enable withdrawal access. Restrict the key further in Binance when your account options allow it.
Start the Binance bot in paper mode
Check pairs, stake settings, strategy behavior, and bot health with simulated funds. Paper results may differ materially from live execution and are not a forecast of returns.
Monitor bot and exchange status
Review trades, balances, history, and bot health in the dashboard. Exchange maintenance, rate limits, network errors, and market conditions can still interrupt or change live execution.
