Availability: Managed copy trading runs in paper mode with platform-native leaders — BotTradesForYou members who opted in to publish the performance of a paper Binance Spot bot under a pseudonym. Live, real-money copy trading is not available, and no leader from Binance's own marketplace is copied here. The dashboard is the source of truth for what your account can use.

Managed copy trading is designed to select eligible leaders automatically and reproduce their target Spot exposure within the budget and risk mandate you approve. It is Binance Spot only. Futures, margin, leverage, short selling, Kraken, and Bybit copy trading are outside this release. Kraken and Bybit are postponed, not deleted.

How leaders are selected

The selection policy is deterministic and versioned. It first excludes leaders whose data is stale or incomplete, whose track record is too short, or whose drawdown, concentration, activity, or supported pairs fall outside the approved limits. It then ranks the remaining leaders using documented performance and risk factors.

The platform does not ask a generative AI model to choose a trader, and it does not rank on headline return alone. Each selection records the policy version, data timestamp, eligibility checks, score components, and reason for including or excluding a leader. Historical performance never guarantees future results.

From a leader target to an exchange trade

BotTradesForYou does not blindly repeat each observed order. It calculates the position that your copy mandate should hold:

  1. A validated leader snapshot or signal states a target allocation for a Binance Spot symbol.
  2. The platform applies your copy budget, reserve, allowed pairs, position cap, minimum order, freshness, and risk-reducing rules.
  3. It compares the resulting target with your current copy-attributed position.
  4. A durable execution intent and outbox record store the required increase, reduction, close, or no-op.
  5. A private Freqtrade bot executes an approved intent. The web application does not place exchange orders directly.
  6. Reconciliation compares orders, fills, fees, and balances with the target before another uncertain action is attempted.

Manual or otherwise unattributed holdings are kept separate and must not be sold by the copy-trading controller.

Platform paper leaders and the test emulator

The user-facing paper catalog contains consented BotTradesForYou users whose eligible Binance Spot paper-bot history is current, moderated, and published to the catalog. These are real platform users, but their displayed evidence and copied targets are paper results—not Binance live copy traders and not Binance-official leader data. Every row is labeled Platform paper leader and includes its data timestamp and allocation weight.

A separate deterministic provider emulator exists only for automated tests, replay validation, outage drills, and mathematical verification. Emulator fixtures are never displayed as real traders and are never a fallback when fresh approved platform-paper evidence is unavailable.

The Binance Spot Copy Trading link opens Binance's separate product as a deep link only. A leader or trade selected on Binance's page is controlled by Binance and is not imported, selected, or executed by this platform.

Paper results are not a promise of live execution. Live fees, liquidity, latency, partial fills, slippage, outages, and market changes can produce different results.

Why live copy trading can remain unavailable

Live increases fail closed. They require all ordinary bot-creation, bot-execution, and live-trading deployment switches, both copy-trading deployment switches, the managed-copy feature flag, an enabled Binance connection, Binance Spot mode, documented official provider capabilities, current provider and legal approval, validated test and replay behavior, current suitability, current consent, an actionable mandate, an eligible leader, a fresh signal, and a current launch approval.

Turning on one flag cannot bypass a missing requirement. Paper access also depends on the capabilities made available in the product. Where the required official leader data or permissions do not exist, the feature stays unavailable.

Safety, reconciliation, and stopping

Budgets, reserves, per-position limits, allowed pairs, stale-data checks, and minimum-order rules constrain targets. A pause or safety halt blocks new exposure while verified reductions and closes can continue. Unknown order outcomes are reconciled before retry; they are not submitted again blindly.

The drawdown halt is a realized closed-trade control. It uses synchronized realized profit and loss from closed trades attributed to the private copy bot. It does not include unrealized gains or losses on open positions, so it must not be read as total-portfolio or real-time market drawdown protection. If evidence is missing, stale, unresolved, or the limit is reached, new exposure is blocked while verified reductions and closes can continue.

During a provider outage or rollback, the platform keeps its immutable signals, targets, intents, fills, and reconciliation history. Operators can disable new live copy exposure while preserving close, reconciliation, reporting, and recovery paths.

Copy trading can lose some or all of the allocated funds. Selection and automation do not remove market, leader, liquidity, execution, exchange, or operational risk.

No unofficial Binance access

The managed system must use documented, authorized provider capabilities. It does not scrape Binance pages, call private browser APIs such as bapi, automate the Binance website, or place orders directly from the platform service. If official capability or permission is missing, live launch remains blocked.

Binance's separate Spot Copy Trading product

You can open Binance Spot Copy Trading(opens in new tab) to use Binance's own product. That link is not a managed integration: Binance controls any actions started there, and they do not enter this platform's mandate, execution, attribution, or audit flow.

Before using any available mode, review the displayed source, data time, selected leaders and reasons, copy budget, reserves, limits, suitability result, consent, and stop behavior. Use only capital you can afford to lose.
